Two Become One

Today our teachers gave us a big challenge.  In two groups of 5, we had to choose two of the stories we created yesterday and write one play that combines both of the stories!  Then we had to take photographs to be the backdrops for the settings in our play.  On top of it all, we were only allowed to use one prop.  It wasn't easy but by the end of the day we were performing our plays for the whole class!  One group even made a musical and the other group hand-made their own prop.  It was pretty cool.  Check out our scripts, backdrops, and videos of our performance.

Billy and the Pizza Dimension

Cast of Characters:
Billy - Kobe Germain
Bill - Garrett Zwall
Dr. Fidget - Connor Reynoso
General Salami (bad pizza alien) - Anna Ravine
Bob (good pizza alien) - Jim Ravine

Billy walks into a pizza restaurant

Billy:  I would like the new special, Planet-X Pizza.
Bill:  That will be 5 dollars.
Billy starts to eat the pizza.  FREEZE
Dr. Fidget:  Here we see Bill who suffers from a personality disorder.  It is constantly changing!
Bill's personality changes and he grabs the pizza from Billy and starts eating it also.
Bill:  I want pizza!
They both eat pizza and teleport into the pizza dimension.

Dr. Fidget:  Now they travel through space and time.
They arrive on the Pizza Planet.

Bob:  Please help!  I'm running from General Salami!
General Salami:  Why do you trespass on my pizza?!
Billy:  What?  I thought this was Earth.
General Salami:  Do you dare insult the great General Salami?!
Bob:  Follow me to my secret bunker!  Dr. Fidget is there.
Bill and Billy:  Ok.
They arrive at the secret bunker.

Dr. Fidget:  This is where I come in...
Bob:  Hey Dr. Fidget I found some humans.
Bill:  Where is Dr. Digit?
Dr. Fidget:  It's actually Dr. Fidget.
Bill:  Digit, Fidget, whatever.  Potato, potato.
Bob:  Billy, Bill, will you help us in your revolution?
Bill and Billy:  No, we just want to go home.
Dr. Fidget:  The only way to get home is to eat General Salami.
Bill and Billy:  Anything to get home.
They arrive at the Pizza Planet battlefield.

General Salami: You insulted  Pizza Planet, now you shall die!
General Salami shoots his pizza gun at Bill and Billy and they catch the pizza bullets in their mouths.
Bill and Billy:  Wait, we can eat them!
CUE MUSIC
Bill and Billy start eating General Salami.  Then they teleport back to Earth.  

Dr. Fidget:  Well that's the end of my story.  Just make sure you don't end up like this guy.

20 Monkeys
(created from "20 Monkeys and a Shiny Banana" and "Working Hard")

Narrator:  At the zoo, the zookeeper gave Tom 20 monkeys to get to the Tilly's and Panera Bread.
Zookeeper:  Tom, can you get the monkeys to Tilly's and Panera Bread?

Tom:  Sure can!

Narrator:  The monkeys did not want to go and caused mayhem.
The monkeys go wild.  Tom pulls out a banana.  All the monkeys follow.

Mr. Bubbleface:  Do you want a taxi ride?

Tom:  Sure.
Mr. Bubbleface:  To the Old Spaghetti Factory!

Narrator:  After lunch he got his monkeys and went to Tilly's and Panera Bread.
Izzy and Katy:  Are our monkeys here?
Tom:  Yes!
Izzy and Katy:  The monkeys can play in our pool!

Tom:  Thank you.
Narrator:  And the monkeys played in the pool.  Happily ever after.
Monkeys start to play.
